[He saw Faize's reaction to the motive. That was a worrying sign, and he would have said something sooner but Hinata had been there to support him immediately. Instead, Bill decided to wait until they were done having their friend talk before approaching him. Maybe Bagel was able to cheer him up or talk him down and it'd be kind of a silly conversation to have no, but it's best to double check. Just in case!

[So after a lovely time spent at the construction site, Bill was definitely going to make good on his promise for a snack date. Gotta romance his lovely new wife, after all, and what better way to do that then to eat the cake she baked and drink the hot chocolate that she'd probably be making too. But first up is a trip to the store.]

[Heck yes he was going to have a sleep over. They're apparently great? And he hasn't had a chance yet and now Faize is probably never going to sleep over again so he was not going to pass on this opportunity. Plus Astrid is pretty damn cool and Stormfly is even cooler so what's not to love about this idea? He'd been pretty gloomy all week but as this approached, he started perking up. Even enough to go to the general store (a few times) to raid it for snacks and drinks - enough to last the entire marathon hopefully. If it's not he'll always go and get more no problem. So when Astrid finally gets there, she'll find the room actually somewhat clean with a few snack piles on the outskirts.

[Something that Bill really loved about Faize was how predictable he could be. Like training. He's always training in the same place at the same time, and that makes it so easy to find him. Which is what he's doing Tuesday, sitting back to watch some of his fancy sword work before approaching him with a friendly hand raised.]
