[7V] Week 8; Wednesday night through Thursday night - SLEEPOVER MARATHON

[Heck yes he was going to have a sleep over. They're apparently great? And he hasn't had a chance yet and now Faize is probably never going to sleep over again so he was not going to pass on this opportunity. Plus Astrid is pretty damn cool and Stormfly is even cooler so what's not to love about this idea? He'd been pretty gloomy all week but as this approached, he started perking up. Even enough to go to the general store (a few times) to raid it for snacks and drinks - enough to last the entire marathon hopefully. If it's not he'll always go and get more no problem. So when Astrid finally gets there, she'll find the room actually somewhat clean with a few snack piles on the outskirts.

Stormfly might be able to smell chicken.

[ Astrid is already feeling a small trickle of Regret as she tows Stormfly to Bill's room, but honestly...she has no other options she thinks she can put up with who don't have plans and Stormfly's opinion is super important. So Bill wins the roomie hunger games. The Regret lessens a little when she sees the room is a little cleaner but why do you have snack piles...

...And why is Stormfly rushing in straight for where she smells chicken? ]

Whoa! Sorry, she's...did you get her snacks? [ Astrid actually sounds a little surprised and charmed. MAYBE THIS WASN'T A MISTAKE AFTER ALL??????? ]

[Bill moves out of Stormfly's way, face lighting up a little as he watches her go for the snacks.]

Don't eat'em all now or you won't have any for later.

[And then returning to Astrid--]

Of course! She's part of this sleepover too so she's gonna need snacks!

[ It occurs to Astrid around ten or so Thursday night that there's a promise she never carried through with for Bill. ]

Oh, did you still want to cut your hand open or anything? [ SHE CAN GIVE YOU A BRUISE OR SOMETHING IF NOT? This...this is what happens when you agree to spend an evening with Astrid Hofferson, I guess. Future alibi notes: "cut open bill's hand"

She's sitting cross-legged on one of the beds, absently sketching more defensive plans on a piece of paper, though this time they're for Bill's room. Astrid...stop. Bill's room doesn't need any of these traps. ]

[It is way cooler. Anyone can say, "Oh yeah sliced open my hand with a knife," but how many can say, "No bitch I sliced it open with a Viking's axe"? Not many!! So he's more than eager as he gives her his right hand. Gingerly, because his shoulder and elbow and arm basically are still fucked up from that fall, but there it is anyway. He's ready!!! Fuck up this arm even more!!! Cool scar!!!]
